Enterprise Zone Contribution Tax Credit

Hospice of Montezuma is approved as an Enterprise Zone Contribution Project by the Colorado Region 9 Economic Development District. This designation allows all donor contributions $250 and above to be eligible for a 25% state tax credit for cash donations and a 12.5% state tax credit on in-kind contributions.

Online Donations

As a non-profit organization providing services to patients without the ability to pay and providing free support to community members, Hospice of Montezuma relies on the generous donations of individuals and businesses to help us care for our patients and support our community. Online donations can be made individually or on a regular basis, such as monthly or yearly. If you have any questions regarding online donations, please contact Hospice of Montezuma at 970-565-4400.

Planned Giving

Real Estate

A charitable contribution of real estate/property will give you numerous advantages. Personal residences, vacation homes, farm, commercial real estate or vacant land can be included as contributions. Normally they qualify for an immediate tax reduction and result in the avoidance of tax on appreciation. The amount of the deduction for a contribution of real estate is normally valued at the current market value of the property.
